Damn, we have such a bad dust storm here now, that they have pilot cars to guide cars on the highway by here. Where I work is on a hill, just outside of town. The highway is a fun one during the winter. First time I've heard of them using pilot cars though here.

We won't get anymore dust storms til next summer. Hell, we might not get any more rain until then, either.

Yikes. I worked on the fifth floor, and whenever a storm came in, it totally sucked. The whole building swayed, the back door leaked (we were top floor), and my boss would make me turn the computer off because he was too cheap to buy another one if something happened to it. There's only so much filing you can do while waiting out a storm....

But now, there are too many buildings in the way, so I can't see a storm coming until it's here, and we got next to nothing this year, anyway. Not that that stopped my power from going out while I had the kids in the tub a few times.

Nope, never been through that. I've been in houses that were built on stilts because of flooding (on Long Island) but never in a building that was on a roller.
