Peter Gibbons: Let me ask you something. When you come in on Monday, and you're not feelin' real well, does anyone ever say to you, 'Sounds like someone has a case of the Mondays'?
Lawrence: No. No, man. Shit, no, man. I believe you'd get your ass kicked sayin' something like that, man.

Didn't you get that memo ??

I get to work seven days in a row! And my birthday is in the middle of it! And I don't get paid until the week after, and I get to spend the money from my raise on the holiday on my kids' belt exam and Tonya's new black uniform! I also get to kill myself to get all of her patches on her new uniform before the belt exam! I am so happy right now!!

I think it's time the kids learn the art of sewing. Cuz young kids and sharp needles go hand in hand.

I actually make a lot of money doing it. I'm the only mom at the school who will do it for other people. I made up a price chart and leave flyers at the school. The week before belt exams are usually pretty booked up because everyone waits until the last minute. If the instructor enforced his own rules, it wouldn't be that way (they have smaller monthly tests that they're supposed to have all their patches for but he's been letting kids test without them) but for the belt exam, the Master is there (and is a giant prick) and he's in charge of all the schools, and won't let anyone test without them. Which is stupid, because it's not even a test (at their age level) but whatever.

This week alone I made $55 doing an adult and a kid uniform. Everyone comes to me because I charge less than getting it done at a dry cleaner's, they can leave it and pick it up at the school (as opposed to driving 40 minutes to the nearest dry cleaner) and I get the uniforms back the next day, as opposed to 2 weeks. BUT...I don't make any money doing my own kids' uniforms, and I'm under pressure to make sure theirs are always done to show I can do it well.

Uhhh, I was laid up with a nasty chest cold all weekend and had to take Monday off. Very crappy weekend for me:zombie: I am going to see the Tigers this Friday. I will be in the 3rd row in front of the third base. So just look for the guy who looks like a bad motherfucker:lol:

Cars are a complete money pit......I have to bleed my clutch this weekend. The damn thing is slipping, so I hope this will help. If it doesn't, that means I have to replace the clutch and take my engine completely out in the process. I know how to replace it but it will be a 4 or 5 day process and there will be many wrenches thrown and many f-bombs dropped if I have to do it.
