Go easy on him, Rhiel. You know how forgetful old people are.

I had my first inventory yesterday. What a fucking adventure. I was almost done at 9:15 (supposed to get off at 10) and I was informed that I was also supposed to weigh everything. Even though I asked earlier in the day if I had to weigh anything and was told no. So then I got out 20 minutes late because I had to weigh 30 or 40 different meats and cheeses. Next time I'll weigh them out way before inventory and do all the multiplication on my lunch break. I also have to remember a pencil, my pen freezes up in the freezer (apparently ink gets cold, too).

Today I have a light load of dropping prices and ordering supplies, then tomorrow I meet my new boss and then I have Tuesday and Wednesday off, which I will spend cooking the pumpkin that's been sitting in my kitchen for two weeks and cleaning my house.

Hasn't NHL started yet? I haven't even seen it advertised, but pre-season usually starts right around my birthday.

My husband may consider getting the Wiiiiiii only for the option of getting the entire Nintendo library to play on it. We still play our SNES and NES frequently, though the NES has seen better days.

Could someone give me some details about the Nintendo Wii? My works blocks the site:erk: A copy and paste of the functions and details of the console would be cool. As would the release date. I honestly have not heard anything about this.

Man, 3 concerts in 3 days is exhausting. I think I will be taking a "concert break" for awhile. Got some sweet merch though. Probably spent a total of 90 dollars just in shirts, cds, vinyil, and posters. I got a badass Melvins poster and got it signed by the band. Now I just have to find a frame for the bad boy because it is an unusual size. Probably will have to pay to have one made:erk: . No pics of the shows though. I was to busy rocking out to bother with it. Great weekend, but now I am paying for the lack of sleep because of all the travel. Next weekend- Dayton, Ohio:zombie:

3 shows in 3 days - I haven't done that since Presidnets Day weekend 1985

Fri - Dokken, Keel and Odin - I think.
Sat - White Cross, Neon Cross??? who knows it was a Christian Metal show.
Sun - KISS and Queensryche

God I'm ancient. :zombie:

If you can't go to http://wii.nintendo.com/ I'll post some info on it. The Wiiiiiiiii comes out 11/19/06!

From wii.nintendo.com:
Design:Featuring a compact design that makes it a natural addition to any television setup, the Wii console is white in color and can be displayed either vertically or horizontally

Size:About 8.5 inches long, 6 inches wide and less than 2 inches thick (roughly the size of 3 DVD cases stacked on top of each other)

Network: The Wii console communicates wirelessly with the Internet via IEEE 802.11 or a USB 2.0 LAN adaptor. Wii also can connect wirelessly with Nintendo DS.

GameCube Compatibility: The Wii is backward-compatible to all Nintendo GameCube games and includes four ports for controllers and two slots for memory cards

CPU/GPU: PowerPC CPU (code-named “Broadway”), made with a 90nm SOI CMOS process, jointly developed with and manufactured by IBM; GPU developed with ATI

Media: A single self-loading media bay plays single- or double-layered 12-cm optical discs for the Wii console, as well as 8-cm Nintendo GameCube discs

Input: four Wii Remote controllers can communicate with Wii, which features a bay for an SD memory card

Output: an AV Multi-output port for component, composite or S-video

WiiConnect 24: The Wii console can communicate with the Internet even when the power is turned off. The WiiConnect24 service delivers a new surprise or game update, even if the system is idle. Users can connect wirelessly using IEEE 802.11 or a USB 2.0 LAN adaptor.

I also heard that you can download TurboGraphics (sp?) 16 games and I think Comadore 64 as well as all SNES, NES, and I think Nintendo 64 games.
