I think next year I'm going to be an election judge. The average age of the judges at the polling place I went to this morning was 85. It took them forever to find my name on the list because J come after H, but before K (the 2 sections the old bat looked in before finding my name in the J section).

And, my polling place is at a nun's retirement home. Very creepy. Thank goodness I was wearing my Anthrax hoodie.

This is funny. My sister found one of my old letters to santa in a box my Dad gave her. Could you tell I was a tomboy?

I see a lot of remote control stuff. You'd get along well with Antonio (or maybe you'd fight over the remote controls too much)

You know what? I never did get a remote control car or truck.

I think I'll go out and buy one today, because I can.

I already started shopping. I have a big amazon.com order that's almost ready, and I'm picking up the new Mortal Kombat game for my husband after work. I'm not going near a shopping center come December.

unfortunately I won't be able to shop until December.

? Do you guys think I should get my son one of those little stereos you can charge your ipod on? That way he can blast his I am the law version from GO2E.

Anotnio got a remote control Mater (the tow truck from Cars for all you non-parents) for his birthday. Now he wants a remote control Lightening McQueen to go with it.

We had Mater cakes at my store, but they got discontinuted because they sold like 500 more Lightning McQueen instead. That, and brown cakes aren't very appealing, unless they're chocolate.

Actually, I am not a big fan of cake to begin with so I will opt to give the cake the middle finger and then chug the bottle of rum. I might even throw caution to the wind and smoke banana peels while I am at it.

So my wife went out and bought "Cars" for the family last night while I was on the air covering the elections...

This is what happens when I'm not there... she bought the fullscreen version, 'cause she hates widescreen. I fucking HATE fullscreen! :yuk:

Guess that means I'm just going to have to invest in a HD wide-screen television now - or I can just get the widescreen version of "Cars" on the sly.

I've trained my wife to only buy widescreen.

I hate that "widescreen" TVs are 1.85:1 ratio, so most widescreen movies still end up having the black bars on the supposedly "widescreen" TV. Why not make widescreen TVs 2.35:1 so that it can actually fit the movies?
