I'm going to see The Nutcracker tonight at the Phoenix Symphony Hall. My husband got tickets for me and his mom. The only downside is that I have to work tomorrow, and I'll be getting in late tonight. But after the shitty weekend I had at work, I deserve a night out.

Happy Boxing Day everyone? What the hell is that day anyway?

My husband is in the living room playing the Mortal Kombat game I gave him. It looks really cool.

Boxing day has turned into Boxing week, which is turning into Boxing month...it's only a matter of time before some store declares Boxing year.

Mortal Kombat: Annihilation. He really likes the RPG aspect of it.

Oh, and stupid Gerald Ford couldn't wait until Monday to die. I had him as a pick in my 2007 dead pool that I'm doing with friends. And, since he died in '06, it doesn't count. So, I replaced him with Jimmy Carter. He's old, and there could be some sort of accident at one of those Habitat houses he does.

Tonight, my oldest daughter has a major flare-up with what they're calling a tic - what scares me is it's starting to look like Tourette's. Had to bring the twins with me to the hospital, then the wife came to stay with our oldest in the ER. Got home with the twins just before 1 a.m. - and since I left my credit card on the kitchen table, had to make it home on fumes in the car.

I'm tired and pissed. G'night.
