Outstanding albums of this decade?

I probably need to get some Graveland. Black Seeds of Vengeance is my least favorite Nile, but still pretty cool. I think In Their Darkened Shrines is a death / grind masterpiece.

it started off as a 6/10 album that I shut off halfway through most of the time, to now where I probably listen to it 4 days out of the week, and have for months on end. OMG IT IS JUST THAT GOOD LOZLZOLZ!!!!111111fourhundredtwelve

You know, there is something quite therepeutic about making a list of albums that you love, and just staring at that list.

Other than Sarcophagus and Unas SLayer of the Gods, I dont listen to ITDS.

BSoV has Defiling the Gates of Ishtar, Masturbating the War God, the title track, and some other song Ican't remember that kick ass. And like I said, it has more of the Egyptian sounds.

That was because most of you wouldn't say it's a great album. The songs go over well live too. Best band of Wacken 2003.

This just in: Kayo Dot's "Choirs of the Eye" is the best album of the past 4 years. No question. So challenging, chaotic and layered... but soooo rewarding in the long run. I could probably listen to this every day and not get sick of it (oh wait... I have been listening to it every day for weeks!

When they release a new one, I don't know what I'll do, but it'll probably make me have to change my pants.

Deliverance is very muchly good, not quite a masterpiece but the band's best moment.

Blackwater Park gets really stale by the end, but I dig the first several songs quite a bit.

Damnation is fun a few times a year when I want some Porcupine Tree-lite.
