But this full circle rainbow around the sun was badass.

It was like 7am and -30C outside, the air was so cold all moisture was crystalized and made a ring around the sun.

Horrible place. I was only there for 12 hours, as our flight couldnt land in the proper city due to a storm. If you'll notice, its a vast endless horizon of all white...I was basically stuck in limbo.

Edit: just realized I explained a form a cold-weather phenomenon to a Norwegian. Go me.

You know that this is called Halo-phenomenon? A rainbow is never around or in front of the sun. Be proud that you have seen this. Not many people can say that they have ever seen a Halo. I've read an article about it and if I remember right, it can be seen ca. 1 time in a week in north europe
