look man, the atari 2600 was released in 1977. It wasn't until the early 80's when they released space invaders.

The only thing I can think of is the 2600 JNR which came out in 1985, but still, you were 5 years old?

Even though I played lots of Commodore 64, Atari 2600/7800, etc. I didn't really come of age until the NES was out. haha, and I consider that being pretty new to that world, half you lot weren't even born before Mario had a few sequels.

No idea then, but I just had a huge flashback to playing Gyromite.

I played that game for years before I actually stopped cheating and used the gyro thingies.

What a rad concept, just like so many games back then. You don't really see the envelope getting pushed a lot anymore.

EDIT: AAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH another flashback of getting stuck at the short end of a rope in that fucking game.
