Pain of Salvation?

hell yeah. "one hour..." was a little weak, but entropia and perfect element I kick ass. i even loaned my Perfect Element to my band teacher, and he loved it.

One Hour is my favorite. People, you all got to hear these guys. Their singer has a great range and their music is complex...they remind me of Opeth in a way...I don't know why, they just do.

It's a shame that my indigestion when exposed to so much cheesy american commercial whininess prevents me from enjoying otherwise good music.

With that in mind, I state the following opinion:
The music is well-written, dramatic, and very flashy/polished, but.. ungh. The emotion of the music is very superficial, forced, and fake. For example, Britney Spears (the whore) is a fake bitch who is not being *herself*, she's just putting on that stupid act for the sake of seeming like she is what she wants her fans want her to be.

I guess what I'm saying is I don't mind cheese, if it sounds real (I can handle gentle giant for fuck's sake), but when the cheese is refined, engineered, polished, and not truly from the heart then it gets a little sickening.

That's just my 2 cents, anyway.

By the way, what's with that Halford song "Gonna raise some hell". What the FUCK is that idiot thinking? He was once considered to be a god, and now he is a joke. What a goof. He should've quit while he was ahead. Poor bastard.
