Just the tone man, what more can I say? Cutting, not overly harsh (nowhere near as much as high-output ceramic passives anyway, IME), and just so clear, defined, and tight - but I also am now kinda joining the crowd who believe them to be "sterile and undynamic", and really liking the greater dynamic nuances (and more relaxed upper mids) available with passives! (especially the SH-15, have I mentioned that yet?
