I did something similar to Erkan, I made an ANTI-IMPULSE to WarpVST that "bypassed" the cabsim, so that he could use whatever impulse he wanted after it :saint:

How did you do this btw? Sine sweep through WarpVST, capturing an impulse and then reversing the phase on that one? How clean is the result?

Ain't that also the only way to bypass the cab-sim on the Sansamp-PSA? Haven't used these in ages...

What if you ran a distorted amp signal from a recorded amp through an ANTI-IMPULSE? Phase out the characteristics of the cabinet/cabinet emulation somehow, and then reamp through a power amp?

Well, you would need an impulse that was created at the same session as the guitars were recorded, to have the exact context to null out the phase. But even if you had the very impulse, I'm still not sure how well it would work since - as we all know - impulses have a flat/static response.
