Yes, the distance is almost the same... from this 800€ only the plane ticket is 400€. Than the Tuska 3 day ticket is 62€ and the rest is for living for 2 weeks. And it's not much, believe me. If we look at that one oack cigar is 5-6€... And I wanna buy CD's, souvenirs and stuff :cry:
Anyway, hope you can do it, cause it's still an awesome experience! :headbang:

oh yeah...if you will be there for two weeks....then those 800€ isn't that much...you're right. Yep, the big 'waste' of money is plane ticket...but we cannot help to this.
I really hope I can do this and go there...but I still thinking where to get so much money. Will try to mention this festival to my GF, she may like it...so then noone can stop me for sure:heh:
And of course...I think this is one of the best festivals in Europe, because its lots of melodic stuff...just right music for me...it would be really bad to miss this, especially this year...COB, Norther, Finntroll, Edguy,...oh cannot even imagine to miss this :cry:

it depends some countrys visiting usa need visas and some dont but you WILL need a passport! and check to see what vaccinations u need before u comehere as well.... some diseases here you dont have there and you need to be vaccinated for them.... also goto the website for the american embasy and see what else is required before you come to usa
 
I have met two guys from UM, but I have known them long before UM even exist.
Last weekend we had Finnish metalforum Imperiumi meeting and boat-trip to Estonia. There was 32 guys and girls. But as usually I was so fucking drunk don't remember even half of them. After boat-trip we contiuned drinking in my friends flat at Hellsinki, there was about ten people and couple that weren't at boat-trip, including Trollhorn. And again I passed out. We have new meeting in Tuska.
Maybe we could have UM-meeting in Tuska?

I have a couple of friends that MAYBE will be going to the concert but it would be cool meeting you if you came down to Stockholm anyway :)
I'd hate to wind up alone at a concert, thats just so boring
 
Hehe, i never been going alone to a concert.. probably since travelling down around 1000 km alone isnt so funny either ;) Oh but well!! We can plan something later then, it still a long time left for that concert :)
