If I remember the forum thread correctly, he wanted to proceed with a career in more popular(gay) music. Not sure if this was the guy or if it was an earlier singer.

I like the new one though, Has a great voice!

Oh so sick. I'm so pumped. Im totally coming to see you when you come through Tacoma Bulb. Spencer sounds fantastic. I really dig it. He is not a Casey immitation, he kinda does his own thing which I really dig. I don't know, Chris had a good voice but it just felt like he was Casey light. This new guy seems to have his own style.
