I quad-tracked this song with two guitar tones on each side, panned 100% 73%, respectively.
The leads have the same tone as the 100% guitars with a different cab sim and are also panned 100% to avoid phase cancellation with each other, but I think they're now phase canceling with the rhythm guitars. Have a listen at about 1:00. What do you think? Should I change the tone more? I'm not sure what to do because, since they're harmonized, when I panned them closer together they would cancel each other out.
And any other advice is welcome as well! Thanks all.
