Piano music

Hi everybody.
I was wondering, does anyone of you know any good piano-based music? Or music that has a lot of piano in it? It recently dawned on me how beautiful this instrument is, I mean, I can easily fall in love with a song with nothing but piano in it! In my opinion, piano can give a song so much deapth and make it sound so much more organic...
Current favourite piano song: Granmon by Detektivbyrån!

Black Metal band Scholomance. They are split up now but worth a listen if you love piano. First instrument I learned to play.

In any case, piano is a fabulous instrument and also one that I seriously can't play at all. I don't know that many bands where the piano constantly takes the leading spot though.

Coen Bais - Sweet Dreams
Simeon ten Holt - Canto Ostinato

Eluvium - Copia, more than just piano (ambient classical droney stuff) but awesome anyway.
Brian Eno - Music For Airports, if you're into ambient stuff, it's pretty minimalistic.
The American Dollar - A Memory Stream, if you like post-rock, good record with quite some piano stuff.
Regina Spektor - Begin To Hope, if you're into this stuff (it's a bit poppy sometimes). I think her earlier albums are supposed to be better but I haven't heard them.

Wow, that's some talent your friend has! Can't play it myself either, I can copy simple songs (like the intro of A fair judgement, for instance! ), but that's it basically...

Shame indeed! We should all be flogged. Btw, is it "Rachmaninov" or "Rachmaninoff"? I've seen it spelled both ways.

Moonlight Sonata is my all time favorite piece of piano music, btw... especially the third movement, which is like a giant musical orgasm! :Smokin:

Dude, that third movement is crazy. It's an emotional frenzy, especially after the calm of the first two movements and the moodiness of the first in particular.
