Pirate Metal!!

Oh shit, I forgot about that! R.I.P Earl

I pretty much grew up on Home Improvement and Seinfield :headbang:

i don't think we are talking about the same person

isn't that Walter Matthau, from the movies "Grumpier Old Men" and "Dennis the Menace" where he played Mr. Wilson? :err:

Wilson was the neighbour of the main character in Home Improvement.

well the day Alestorm provides a threat to my future..as well as the future of the world...I will accept that analogy.

You must be oblivious if you believe their musical range is NOT limited; vocals, melodies, keyboard sound. Anything theme-based will end up cheesy.

A theme and a style are two very different things

I didn't say they are not limited, I just said that every band is limited to what they do. Cob for example, they just changed a little bit, it's even hard to tell, and people are freaking out. I could also use the "Metallica" argument but I know most of you would say "Yeah, but changing or going outside the limit is ok if you do good music, Metallica don't" - well, it's good music or not only to you.

My point is that every band is limited to some sounds and can hardly go outside. Well yeah, I know the theme is limiting them more than just the style, but at this point it's not really important - and for me the theme is just for the lyrics, the style is for the music.

seems to me you care way too much about a band you don't even like Joe.

You care so much for a religion you don't like

The band "Sigh" does a good job of mixing a bunch of styles together. :headbang:

The fact that someone linked you to this and you came here made me LOL hard.

The difference between defending your band and putting an end to false information that demeans and disqualifies the effort put in by other members is quite vast :)

For the rest of you's. We don't mind if you's like us, we don't mind if you's hate us. We're not up ourselves enough to say "SHUT UP!" to every negative (or any negative things) said about us... Our concern is not with whether people like us but rather that we have fun playing music and getting to do what we like!

Bash us all you want! And if you don't wanna, cool! :D
