i didn't track this, but i mixed it with just raw cymbals (no drums), midi, raw vox, and DI's.

the band said to me "can you make us sound like tdwp or confide?" :Smug:

i would've tracked the guitar different for maximum effect, but can't win 'em all

haha yea they specifically requested that too.

i'm not gonna spill the beans on the tact tone but you can figure it out by combing the forums easily enough. the trick is definitely shaping (or cutting, rather) in the neighborhood of the high mids.

but what about "more than one string riffs;P? never tried melodyne on guitars, autotune works ok
