PODxt and Pod Farm?

I'm pretty new to Pods/Pod Farm/ Ilok etc

Basically, I have a PODxt and i've only ever used it as hardware but i feel its getting a little bit limiting and I'd rather control my sounds and signal chain via a GUI

I saw a previous blog about Pod Farm Platinum for $150 and upgrade to 2.0 Platinum for free? Also, as I have a PODxt, it doesnt seem like I can purchase Pod Farm 1 off there and I cant have the 15 day trial unless I have an ilok?

I was just wondering what will i need to do to get Pod Farm working with my PODxt, whats the cheapest option?

Im in the UK by the way.

Functionally there is no reason to get 1 instead of 2. If you are asking for a free copy then I believe that promotion ended last year. So. I linked you to where you could buy it. I don't get what the issue is.

Yes you can still buy 1.0 and get Platinum 2 for free. If you own a PodXT and use it on your PC via USB you dont need the iLok the PODXt is your iLok essentially.

Ok cool, I've found Pod Farm Platinum for like £82 on thomman. If i buy that can I upgrade to Pod Farm 2 Platinum for free? Sorry for all the noob questions
