OK so it is an O/D Saxon support slot but the audience were really into the band almost from the start.

It is 10 years (or more) since I last saw the real thing - Cumbria Rock Festival - so I was surprised at how much the young audience were into the music. And here was me thinking nu-metal was the in thing.
If O/D Saxon can get this reaction in a support slot there is hope for decent attendances at headline shows for either version. I see there is a London gig early in the new year. I'd better get along and see what I've been missing.
