I took the bus back from school and got off in the middle to stop by a CD shop, not for Opeth...

I thought there's no chance it'd be there so soon. And it wasn't. I heard some other shit, and in the middle I noticed they were just unpacking some things.

And the seller tells me "you know Opeth? They're new CD just arrived, limited edition too."

And I was feeling so lucky he asked me. Apparently they're the importers for roadrunner, and the only importers for Opeth, meaning the other shops will get it in two days. And I got the only SE they had in my city's shop, the minute they got it. The only other shops to have it are the same network's shops in 3 other citys.

Hey guys, are there any other kick-ass Israeli bands except for Orphaned Land? I think Mabool is a great piece of work and the upcoming Amaseffer album with Mats Leven (and Angela Gossow as guest) is also promising.

Any other good bands? Would love to check some out.

Melechesh maybe? The band itself is originated from Israel, but they were banned from there or something like that. Religious issues. Anyway, they play a black-death sort of metal with a great dose of middle-eastern melodies.

Also there's Distorted which operates with female vocals + male growls. Gothic death kind of thing.
