I used to mountain-climb for years actually! I love that. Great excersize and great challange and fun! I don't have any pictures of me on a rock (crazy... considering I've been doing that since I was 17...) but that's the only one:

Karen that's awesome! You know there is a really cool indoor rock gym right in Alexandria (sportrock), I should drag you there sometime haha. I work part time at a place in Rockville called Earth Treks. I've become obsessed with climbing over the last year, I climb 3-4 days a week now.

yeah, my workplace isn't really different from any other store that pedals crappy products to difficult customers. it's not terrible, as i do get genuinely nice people in there often and love talking to people about music or movies and can spend soo much time doing so, and the people i work with are lots of fun (though i'm pretty much only mornings there now and just work with my managers)
still shite pay and a lot of stuff i don't know/can't remember/fuck up

if i could get paid to climb, i would do it for minumum wage for the rest of my life. your life is what i wish i could do. mountain/outdoor sporting, and music for a living. i am truelly jealous. i'm really into climbing and parkour (if you don't know what it is, youtube it). it's hell in the winter for me, when it's too cold to climb.
i have 2 real passions: challenging myself physically (climbing/parkour/kayaking) and challenging and teachng/ helping myself and youths mentally. i work at a ymca teen center where i hang out with kids during weekdays, and run events (concerts/ dances/ party rentals) on the weekends. it's a blast, most of the time.
xbox, 50 inch tv, pool table. (i get paid for that!!! hahaha)
this is our mixing board for concerts. we're under construction now. someone drove a car right into our building. so the stuff is dusty and out of order.
during the summer i work as a summer camp counselor for the same ymca. i worked with the special ed kidsthis year. i loved it but it was VERY hard.
