Post pics of your patch vest/jacket

I plan on making one really soon, preferably a black leather one. There will likely be a lot of Sarcofago/Blasphemy/Beherit type stuff, but I won't exclude a lot of old school death and thrash metal as well.

I do need to learn how to sew the patches themselves on first though, which I can see taking a while as I'm retarded when in comes to things like that.

The girl with the Dawn of Possession patch was cool too but I also forgot her name since I fucking fail at remembering people's names when I first meet them.

That was Leah. Virgil was her boyfriend, the guy with the big Bolt Thrower patch across the top of the back of his. I can't remember if he had a traditional back patch or not, and what it was if he did though. And yeah, they were both cool.

I have a bunch of patches but I honestly don't know if I'll ever bother doing anything with them.

Back in my day they used to make them with old army jackets like this:

and they were called battle jackets, not patch vests. They also had studs and bolts etc all over them as well as patches. Some had sleeves cut of but if so were ALWAYS worn over one's leather jacket.

I never got into them though, I was happy with shirts & hoodies.

The fact that you seriously have a patch that says "THE HAUNTED MADE ME DO IT" on your vest surprises me even though I already knew that you liked a lot of really bad bands.

That's the only Haunted album worth anything anyway.

And I find patch jackets to be stupid but whatever.

I agree with some people about not having too many patches on a jacket. Less is more. I wouldn't want it to look like a cluttered mess.
Here's mine:

Midnight. We have a winner.

I've got a black denim jacket. Thinking I might put one large patch on the back and leave it at that. It may be pretty unoriginal as far as patches on jackets are concerned, but I'm thinking Hellhammer.

Maybe if he did like George and put it alone on the back of a jacket. That's the only kind of style I don't think looks like shit.
