By the way, since I hate the fact that the stupid mic inputs on the firepod are in the front and hate it when I have a bunch of cables hanging off the front, what I did was build a snake into that right console, the XLR plugs are to the right of that side near the floor and out of the feckin way! :D.

Not looking forward to adding more inputs down the road though :(

I agree man. It's nice for a beginner with it just sitting on a shelf or something, or someone using it mobile, but very annoying when you have a nice stationary setup. I'm going to place my Presonus gear in my desk with an open slot above it, and just snake the cables through there back to my patch bay

I'd love to say I built this myself, but it was actually these guys.

Oh yeah, you can actually spot a desk among some other nice things you got there

By the way, with this type of speakers, how big an issue are reflections from nearby objects? For example, does the big display interfere with the sound a lot? I see the setup is quite mobile, do you get it out of the way during critical listening? How much time do you find yourself using the computer as opposed to tweaking the gear? Sorry for the barrage of questions, but I've never been in such a room... well, in my dreams, perhaps :D

Nice, crillemannen, looks cozy. Interesting shape, too. Do you happen to have a snapshot from above (Sketchup or something)?

Thnks man :) Yeah i got a sketch:

What you see is the room from above. And as you can see the walls bass traps are pretty thick almost 70cm, Bass traps, in all angles to maximize the listening position, i got almost a perfect straight curve through 20hz-20khz :)

Wow, that's really impressive dude :headbang:
