post pictures of your desk!

Nice spot Olli, those monitors are a bit too close to the corners for comfort (especially untreated :ill: ), but I love the MK poster, and it's nice and tidy :headbang: Why the Toneport and Edirol though?

And jesus christ, Hans Zimmer's place is absolutely unreal! What the hell is all that rack crap on the back wall? (it all looks so similar, which leads me to believe it isn't traditional outboard)

how would you place the monitors? edirol is my interface - I use the UX2 like a POD. Line Out into Edirol.

I'll post some pics of mine in a few weeks. I'm just rebuilding my room.
In the meantime let's watch some pics of Hans Zimmer's studio :ill:
*worlds most epic studio pics*

Jeebus Crust!
What did that cost you? :O

That is pretty much exactly how my dream studio would look like.. i love that late georgian/early victorian design. :)

I was actually just about to start sketching on my dream studio(georgian/victorian/art deco design), and yours will be a great inspiration! :)

Ok seriously what the fuck is that vertical, wall size, mounted console looking thing Zimmer has all over his rear wall?

Im fairly sure that its a moog modular system:

Dude...Hans Zimmer's, not his

Ah, i was so busy having all my blood flowing through my penis that i didnt realize that.

Hansi's Zimmer looks impressing for sure... but I'd rather take a nap in there than create music. I personally prefer sober workspaces, that don't distract too much. But for his symphonic run of the mill scores it's obviously working rather well.
