Yes, but usually with metal bands you can get the feel of the band by listening to one track, unless it's an instrumental or intro/outro. But I agree, sometimes you need to hear more than just a sample, and sometimes it can take time to let it sink in. Unless you have a good ear.

Edit: I have heard some Burst and they are pretty good, sounds like a mellow version of Meshuggah. Cheers

Wasn't comparing the merits of a post-rock band with the Beatles. I was pointing out that listening to one song does not necessarily help one to make a blanket statement that a band's entire output "is not good". Perhaps my example was a bit extreme.
