Especially the Rhapsody cover rules, though your drum sounds aren't that good. Still, very cool.

Here's a little something I recorded for a guitar "competition" (for lack of a better word). The song is called Let Me Tell You A Secret, by José Carlos Matos(www.josecarlosmatos.com). I just composed the lead and the part from 3:43 to 4:28 (and added the planes and speech lol). Everyone jammed over this tune, and this was what I came up with:

I liek the song of your band too! That kicks ass! cool guitar parts, and excellent vocals, really!! is that a steve vai signature u play there? cauz' it looks like this cauz' of this hole in the top.

Thanks again! And yeah, Ibanez JEM77FP. But on our album (the songs you can download) I used my Carvin DC127C (Thru my Engl-rack : E580 and 930/60). For clean parts I used an Ibanez S2120XAV, neck-humbucker mixed with a little output from the piezo.

There certainly is some impressive stuff amongst this thread.. almost everything is at least 'good'. And most of you are better shredders than I..

But "Time 112" is definitely the standout track to my ears, really great stuff. The two LOTR tracks didnt seem to work though :/

Always interesting to hear what other musicians are getting up to..

Thx! Well, no reason to excuse. I'd like to be able to play that damn harpsichord part on the guitar, but that arpeggio stuff is unbelievably hard. Still, theres such an awful lot to write for our next cd and the stuff is getting complicated.
By the way, all the guitars are done with the Simulanalog Guitarsuite VstIs, which you can get for free at the displayed link. Definitely worth a click.
