Yo thanks!! Hahah Yngwie... I couldn't copy him while he had like 10 liters of wodka and then picking up his axe... ;)

But here's the sweep you requested (in Powertab) :

It's not precisely the one I did I think, but it's the same notes. :)

I put it at the 'Tabs' section at my site too.

Have fun with it!

I liek the song of your band too! That kicks ass! cool guitar parts, and excellent vocals, really!! is that a steve vai signature u play there? cauz' it looks like this cauz' of this hole in the top.

Thanks again! :) And yeah, Ibanez JEM77FP. But on our album (the songs you can download) I used my Carvin DC127C (Thru my Engl-rack : E580 and 930/60). For clean parts I used an Ibanez S2120XAV, neck-humbucker mixed with a little output from the piezo.

Here's a little something I recorded for a guitar "competition" (for lack of a better word). The song is called Let Me Tell You A Secret, by José Carlos Matos(www.josecarlosmatos.com). I just composed the lead and the part from 3:43 to 4:28 (and added the planes and speech lol). Everyone jammed over this tune, and this was what I came up with:

COOL!!!! Very tasty melodies, and I love that raw sound! Great technique too!! And those slides between notes, great man!!! Got more stuff?

Frank

There certainly is some impressive stuff amongst this thread.. almost everything is at least 'good'. And most of you are better shredders than I..

But "Time 112" is definitely the standout track to my ears, really great stuff. The two LOTR tracks didnt seem to work though :/

Always interesting to hear what other musicians are getting up to..

@oneshotendsthiswar: Wow, this sounds highly professional. Even if the bitrate isn't that good you can hear that the production and the material owns! I'm pretty impressed. As for the soloing, well no need to be shredding all the time. The solos are cool.

@\m/FRNK\m/: Man, you're insane! Definitely one of the best pieces of guitarplaying I have heard here so far. :worship:

Well, when I heard this, I almost had changed my mind, but I will post it anyway. A little solo from a song I maybe have posted partly in here already. Anyway, a bit messy but it was (home)recorded rather quickly.

Yeah sometimes it does work, sometimes it doesn't. Have you tried right clicking it, or copying the link adress, maybe that will do it.

I'm gonna check out Roy's site. Take care man! :headbang:

EDIT= Listening to Roy right now. :OMG: Quite a style mixer, eh? Anyway fantastic player, no doubt about that.

Thx! Well, no reason to excuse. I'd like to be able to play that damn harpsichord part on the guitar, but that arpeggio stuff is unbelievably hard. Still, theres such an awful lot to write for our next cd and the stuff is getting complicated.
By the way, all the guitars are done with the Simulanalog Guitarsuite VstIs, which you can get for free at the displayed link. Definitely worth a click.
