Howdy, Take a look at this death/thrash Metal band from New Zealand. you can check them out at http://www.sinate.net pronounced SIN 8.
Sinate are currently working on a new Video from their debut CD. The video is produced by a new production company of which members worked on the Lord of the Rings Movie trilogy. The song is called 'the last War', track 10 on the album. It will have four layers of computer effects and was shot at four different locations. Hope you check the site. The band is off to Sweden in March to record the 2nd CD at Studio Underground in Vasteras, near Stockholm.

I said I wasn't going to put out a finished song before we finished all of them, but it's taking us so goddamn long that I don't want people to forget about us...or something...

Yeah, it's a craptacular myspace stream as well, cause mrniel.com is dead, but it's the best we can do at the moment.

We have about 4 or 5 other songs that are like 75% finished. We found a drummer, but he might not be able to make the cut...another dude called the other day and is interested in playing bass...

Part of the other reason this is taking so long is that I'm mixing my friends' album before they go on tour next month (previews soon) along with the whole school/work schedule every freaking day....

But anyway...enjoy this goddamn song cause I like it. I promise we will finish the next release before the next terrorist attacks.

SINATE....DEATH/ THRASH


Hey check out this death/thrash New Zealand four piece band Sinate. They have recently released their debut album ‘Beyond Human’ which has been selling fast and has been in the top of the music charts over here. Influenced by American old school death metal and thrash metal bands around in the 80s/90s from Cannibal Corpse to Slayer.

They are currently working on their second video, filmed by a new production company some of which worked on the Lord of the Rings movie trilogy and will be up for viewing and download soon. The song is 'The last War' off Sinates debut CD... Beyond Human.

Also in March to April 2006 they will be heading over to Sweden to record their follow-up to Beyond Human CD as brothers Sam (drums) and Matt (vocals) have been there previously to record with their old New Zealand band 8 Foot Sativa (CD-Breed the Pain). The only reason is because the swedes know their metal and NZ isn’t a country for churning out the metal bands, and is surprisingly cheaper to record in Sweden. But don’t get them wrong they will still be keeping to their old influences so look out.

Hey, I know I'm still new here, but my band just finished some (really shitty) recordings tonight! We've all been playing for a while.. but never really wrote anything. Anyway, I'd like to ask the educated and intelligent Opeth fans of the forum to listen to the tunes and give me some constructive criticism. Keep in mind, we are all very young and these recordings were done with a horrible $5 computer microphone, a laptop, and the program Audacity. I do the vocals and bass.

The song "Inquietude" is instrumental and I wrote the second half of it (guitarist wrote the first half) and I'm really proud of it.

The song "Dirge" was written entirely by me, and still isn't done. I wish the vocals would have been louder, so you could hear more of my terrible growling

Anyways, say what you'd like and keep rockin' \m/ I'm just looking for comments from like-minded folk.
