It's been a busy week...
So far, I've listened to:
Origin - Antithesis - I didn't like the previous album, but Antithesis sounds great. That's my kind of Tech DM. Guitar work is amazing, good production. The artwork is pretty interesting, also. Another good release by Relapse records.
Bloodbath - The Wacken Carnage - What can I say? My favourite DM band right now. The DVD is amazing, top notch stuff. Great setlist and a true scandinavian DM mafia jamming. Can't wai to get their new one.
Belphegor - Bondage Goat Zombie - Only watched the DVD, some interesting videos. I'll probably play the CD later today.
Cavalera Conspiracy - Inflikted - It's fucking great to listen to Max and Igor playing together again. The cd is decent, some very good songs. The other two guys (Mark Rizzo and Joe Duplantier) are also good. I still believe the boys will return with Sepultura sooner or later (with Paulo Jr. and Andreas).
Unleashed - Hammer Battalion - I really like Unleashed, and this new one is as good as the previous (Midvinterblot) IMO. Not as good as my favourite, though (Across the Open Sea). Pretty strong DM album.
Opeth - Watershed - Just love it, no matter what some people say, these guys are talented, and their songs are fucking catchy. Listened to the fucker three times in a row, yesterday. Will be among the best 2008' releases for sure.
Deicide - Till Death Do Us Part - What attracted me when I bought it was the guitar duo, which played really well on the previous album. Again, a strong guitar work, some great songs and somne meh stuff.
Marduk - Blood Puke Salvation DVD - Check the Black Metal page, I wrote some stuff there. Fucking A material!!!
Definitely one of my favourite Black Metal bands.I only listened to a few songs from the following, will spin them later today or tomorrow: Infestdead (Jesusatan),Hate (Morphosis), Testament (The Formation...) and Kataklysm (Prevail).

I just got a Leviathan - Howl Mockery at the Cross test press vinyl for $20. Surprisingly low, considering the Xasthur - s/t test press went for almost $100. Some guy sold off a bunch of Xasthur vinyls. Those sell for a lot.

Not really, maybe if you're a dumb downloader that keeps getting fooled by it but they obviously have very different details in every other way such as format, tracklisting, cover (to an extent), etc. It will probably hit US shores in August. It would cost about 40 bucks to ship registered mail from Mystic Arts (France) for some reason, because the US fails at life right now. Ordering the EP was around 20.
