Yeah, it does drag a bit and get boring and they seem to really misunderstand "black metal" but it's a good experiment and sometimes very awesome regardless.

I wish more bands would "misunderstand" black metal. The last few more traditional albums I've heard really did very little for me.

Yeah, that was part of the reason I liked it, because it doesn't get it. It makes it sort of endearing. I think of it as a problem but it's also kind of a cool thing I guess.

nice and thrashy. very decent mid/low screaming. some songs tend to grate but good purchase overall.
