So we went to see Bat Castle play last night at a place called Andy's Bar in Denton. I wasn't expecting much from the place, just for it to be another dive with nowhere to sit. BOY WAS I WRONG!

Got in there and the main room with the stage and bar is decent enough. Then I noticed a door to a basement. Holy moly, they have a bar down in the basement too! Very very cozy and pub-like. I felt like I was in a speak-easy during Prohibition haha. And on top of that, they have an awesome food menu! We had already eaten, but next time it's totally on.

So, back on the main floor, I noticed...a loft! Great view for watching bands. Above the main floor is supposedly a private party area.

Anyway, I didn't take these pics, they are from the bar's Facebook page. This is from down in the basement. I love all the exposed brick on the walls. It makes it feel all old-timey, which it actually is I think.

So yeah, my point is, David can bet on going there the next time he visits

Just got back yesterday from NYC. been there for a few days, and among my activities: I went to see the Tim Burton's exhibit in MoMA (Museum of Modern Art)
it was..... breath taking. The man is a genius. Fucking Wow.

So... my friend put a pole in his apartment for his girlfriend, and they want to pay me to teach her! We got some cool pictures last week, but he only sent me a few so I might have some more to post after I go over there tomorrow.
