Seems like the awesome Human Fortress have been voted 4th best band at Wacken 2003! That's pretty amazing for a band that only played on the Wet Stage. Looks like everyone who witnessed them must have voted in their favour (I know I did).

That's because they fucking kicked Arse.

I got blood spat on me at the front of the crowd, now that was Metal.

They put on the best show I'd say, most entertaining without doubt, only bettered by Dismember, Running Wild and Nile and possibly Vader, but top 5 on such a great line up is impressieve for a band such as them who don't even sing in English.

Get them ( I know they won't appear, ho hum)

I think Thyrfing are a good band but let down by the vocals

I do thinl Thyrfing are good band also some songs are damn good and at Wacken 2003 they played a great set. I actually dont mind the vocals they arent bad but hey everyones got their own opinion

Axenstar would definitely be on my list. As would many of the bands listed here. Rhapsody would put on a great set if they were to play.

However, my vote will always go to Sonata Arctica!!!

Yeah.

You know it makes sense, be honest, where else are you gonna see them, I spoke to a guy in Wacken who flew all the way from Japan to see Metalucifer and Sabbat.

I got the coach from UK but that wasn't much compared to flying half way round the world.

Probably a band I'll only ever get the chance to see once, a lot of bigger bands tour loads, but oh well.

Flying half around the world just to see a couple of bands is damn impressive..its one thing id like to do myself to be honest if the funds were there. Just get the hell out of here and travel round the world and see a load of bands in different places.

But i can stop dreaming now...
