Wow! Too bad it's so close to Prog Power or I'd have to seriously consider this. Well, that and the Broncs have a home game. Yeah, it's only a pre-season game but it's Gary Kubiak's first game in Denver as a head coach. Can't miss! :)

Well, is that not what carnut and me have been telling you all of the time? ;)
Most of the good bands are American bands. Support the US scene!

uh hellooooo

DYNAMO
INFERNO
BANG YOUR HEAD
SWEDEN ROCK
WACKEN
HIMMEL
WHIPLASH
PROGPOWER UK
BLOODSTOCK
GODS OF METAL

I"M pretty sure I'm missing a few as well!
Of course I'm sure seeing these bands with 300,000 other fans isn't quite the same as a smaller venue setting. Damn it, I really am going to try to get to Germany in 2007!

missed the winkey part..... :goggly: I did a few 300,000 people festivals and don't know if I have it in me anymore to do again, but I really really would love to go to Sweden Rock. That festival seems to always get a great mix of old and new bands and a huge roster.

Other than seeing some sites my friends are the biggest reason to go!

Of course!! We would not expect it any other way :). Imagine sitting on a 1000 year old sqaure in Belgium while the sun is shining drinking Belgian beers with carnut and me! How do you like the sound of that?

I shall be coming into a little bit of cash, selling the house at some point later this year because of some um...shit, which means I may just take a few dollars and finally make my European vacation....oops, sorry...European holiday... :kickass:

And yeah, we do have the best festivals over here...like Ozzfest...:Puke:

I cannot do a Euro trip without David. I don't think Pabla would be able to next year but you never know..... and of course everything hinges on how the economy is going to fare in the next 6-9 mos.:ill:

Points of view, for me the good festivals are in Europe. But of course I like more European bands than USA ones.

Now considering that here we never have here any festivals, yes I admit US have very good festivals :D
