You can see who I voted for but, I could choose Priest alone for releasing Stained Class. That has to be one of the best albums I've ever listened to.

Iron Maiden easily. Priest was killer in the 70s w/ Sad Wings, Sin After Sin & Stained Class, but fizzled a bit after that.

I guess there are legit reasons for preferring either band over the other. Priest has a more powerful and "epic" sound, while Maiden has more elaborate songwriting. Personally I'm more swayed by the latter.
