Wow, woke up to all the excitement that is PT9 and learned about it a bit. Then I did a quick google search and well . . .
dear reaper users.
FUCK OFF
Would it make sense if I say that systems with ADC use up more cpu resources than systems without ADC? Do I make sense here?
Also, if it does use up too much cpu does PT9 have the option of disabling ADC and manually adjusting?
Or does ADC simply shift forth all the tracks using no cpu at all? :S
+1

FUCK OFF
I'd be interested to hear what it's like performance wise. Something tells me, it'll never beat Reaper in this regard!
It won't matter so long as Reaper continues to have virtually no 'out-of-box' usability, and the UI of the Star Trek Enterprise. My clients would probably laugh at me if I tried to use it. Hell, I'd laugh at myself.
Ermin, I'm not trying to start a Reaper/whatEverDAWyouPrefer VS Pro-Tools argument as I'm quite interested in the latest release of Pro-Tools myself.
In fairness, you swear by Nebula - one VST with constant UI/usability issues slated against it. It doesn't mean that the software is any less capable, so can we please move on? Thank you.
As I've stated, I'm primarily interested in PT9's performance in relation to other DAWs. Has anyone anything to say on its performance even in relation to PT8?

Nothing personal mate... Just grown a little weary of Repear users chiming in on any thread about any other DAW saying how reaper is the dogs danglies and everything else sucks.
PT8 Reaper theme.
