Found this on the AVID forums
"I had the exact same issue when installing pro tools m-powered 8.0.3 with the firewire 410 and windows 7, but I was able to fix it. When the computer booted up i tapped F8 to get to the system menu, then disabled driver signature enforcement, and after that I haven't had any problems at all with installation. I don't know if that was causing the problem, but it seems to have fixed it."
Should I try that? Would it fuck anything else up?
