Did the amount of monitors on stage seem to affect any of you in the pit? I noticed they seemed to be the entire length of the stage this year, and wondered if that threw anyone for a loop, being that there was nowhere to sneak into between them.

^ tis why I didn't go into the pit. I shot from the corners and the stairs. The pit was mega full this year.

The monitors don't annoy me nearly as much as the microphone stands - but I'm also in the audience, not in the pit, so the monitors are not quite so much Right There. I've had many a nice shot lost because I couldn't move far enough to avoid or cleanly incorporate a stand, though.

Yes. I had to lift my camera over them at times and hope the shot was aligned properly. But I'm thinking they served more of a purpose than the photos.

Cool! Those are great, Kazi. I think you adeptly captured the energy that band brought to the stage. They were so much fun.


This is my favorite photo I got of Voyager. It's not the best one I got of them, but it's still my favorite.
