mh, the ones costing 8 Gs were some serious custom shit. they basically played for you and made you rich and famous and got you your own personal forum. like NFU said, the 22 and 24 are really all you would need.
i think the real expensive pieces were for jerkoffs like Ted Nugent and whatnot. nice guitars though.

PRS are really nice, smooth, clean, great tones. Though if I want raw incredible 7 string tone I go for Musicman haha

Musicman guitars are beautiful. i wouldnt know about tone though. never even seen one in real life.
