Less metal and more rock? How much metal was on In Absentia? It sounds like SW is continuing on his quest to be Radiohead's alter ego.

haha, risquit, steve would bitch slap you for saying that. i remember in an interview he said that radiohead were good but vastly overrated. i dont think steven wilson is becoming any of his influences though, he has so many god damn side projects, and with porcupine tree he takes certain leaps and experiments creatively. porcupine tree is a band that has made an incredible evolution to what they are today and i can tell already their next album will be amazing just like in absentia.
