Propagandhi are god-awful. There are so many modern punk bands that blow them out of the water: Thought Riot, Leftover Crack, Rise Against, Society's Parasites etc etc. For that matter, The Exploited are/were pretty ordinary too.

Hmm. I like Propagandhi because of the aggression in the music and the metal technique in the guitar playing. I think they are very good for a modern punk band. Pretty much all the other modern punk bands I heard are girly pop punk, which I hate. But then again, I may not know what I'm talking about, because I know very very little about punk. That being said, can someone recommend some good non-girly and non-popish punk?

Saw Propaghandi live tonight. They were pretty good. Their older stuff is much better than their newer material.

Man pretty much everything mentioned in this thread falls into that category. Some good lists here; check some of it out.

both. at least bands like Anti-Product and Axegrinder put a little aggro in their music despite the uberleftwing slant of their lyrics. Propaghandi are just gay.
