The hate must be even stronger after that unbelievable,disgusting cheapshot by the Calgary goaltender w/ his stick! I was glad to see the 'Wings put em away (esp. after that incident).
The 'Wings / AVS' rivalry has calmed down a bit...i did root for the AVS' i must admit ( big J. Sackic fan-great player / classy guy like Stevie Y.), when they were battling each other in the playoffs -wich was some of the best hockey i've ever seen!
At the time it was nice to see R. Bourque win the cup w/ the AVS'. Ashame he never won it in Boston...oh well they had a couple cracks at it.

yeah, that was a major cheapshot by McClennan...the whole team seemed to come unglued...fine by me Speaking of Sakic, I see he signed back with the Avs for 1 year...he's about the only guy I ever liked from the Avs...like you said, a class act and quiet leader like Yzerman. Next up, Sharks...I'm also keeping an eye on that Rangers/Sabres series...should a fun one there...hoping the Rangers face the Wings in the finals...Original Six matchup

Yeah, Rangers-v-Sabres should be good.Was nice to see Buff breakout the old blue & gold original unis. (when they won thier last series).

Sharks are loaded this year & made some nice moves at the trade deadline.The sharks are now like Boston-West w/ all the former Bruin / Mass. area guys that i'm all to familiar with, (though i'm not big fans of). Detroit seems to have it all...young & veteran stars, goalie,& experience. 'WINGS IN 7 GM.S
