How good is it?
I just bought it and haven't listened to it yet, I will soon though. What am I in for? I also bought Megadeth- RiP, and Dream Theater- Scenes From a Memory. How good are these as well?

I thinkit is the best metal cd i have ever heard, in terms of lyrics , story, the music is the best queensryche ever did.
Scenes from a memory is incoherent soloing, so the dream theater boys can show off.

TO ME THIS IS QUEENSRYCHE AT THE TOP OF THEIR GAME. I DON'T KNOW IF I WOULD CALL IT MY FAVORITE 'RYCHE RECORD BECAUSE I LOVE THE WARNING, RAGE FOR ORDER, AND EMPIRE, BUT MINDCRIME IS DAMN GOOD. I NEVER KNEW MUSIC COULD BE SO EMOTIONAL AND POWERFUL, AND I GOT TO SEE QUEENSRYCHE PERFOM THIS ALBUM IN ITS ENTIRETY ON THE EMPIRE TOUR. I'D SAY MINDCRIME IS ESSENTIAL LISTENING TO QUEENSRYCHE FANS, OR FANS OF "POWER" METAL. ALSO, I BELIEVE THIS IS ONE OF WARREL'S FAVORITE ALBUMS.

I bought becuase teh japs, bought it and it won awards, i had the t-shirt, which i got for $4. Yes, at one time i was real metal head.

I Got it when it came out. I liked it then. I have not heard it in so long, i m not sure if i would still dig it or not.

I like EMPIRE as well.

Probably, i would say in the day, i would have given it a 8. Empire, i would have given it a 9.
