After 10 years of playing guitar i finally got a wah wah... believe it or not it's my first time playing one.
So,i hear that in order for a wah wah to sound properly you should connect it in the FX loop of your amp and not between the guitar and the amp, is that true?
If it is true then i have i little problem cause i don't have an amp, i do all my guitar playing with a podxt or occasionally with a amp plug in (amplitube, revalver etc.) so i don't have a FX loop.
I'm thinking to try this: connect the guitar to the PODxt and dial in a tone without cab simulation, then to the wah, then to the line in of my soundcard and then use impulses for cab simulation. Is this connection chain going to work? could this damage the wah? If so can you suggest another solution?
