Hey Dan

The things you have done with Mikael are awesome (Sörskogen, Bloodbath, Steel, Egde Of Sanity...maybe something more)). Just wanted to know if you guys have any contact with each other and if you guys will do something more together some day? would be great if you did !

I've got my fingers crossed too! I think that Breeding Death is the best old school death metal ever, Steel is just gold, and Crimson is the best progressive death metal album ever (followed by Orchid and Morningrise). Not to forget Brave Murder Day, imo the best doomdeath album ever. I would LOVE to see this!!!

I have toyed with the idea many times, and it is of course not out of the question. Mike asked me some time ago if I was up for a new Sörskogen recording and I agreed of course. Only time will tell when our paths will cross again, in a professional way, I will go visit them in the studio this week, either they like it or not :) I like to pay a visit to my old companions and see how far they´ve gone. I was up at the Millencolin studio the other day, where these guys work with a famous American producer in their own high class studio...and Opeth is just around the corner (well, kind of..) recording in a top-notch world renowned studio with Jens Bogren again.. in 1996 they both made records with me here too... It´s so amazing how far these bands have gone. I sensed the magic with Opeth straight away, but the Millencolin connection came around the 2nd album, when they had learned how to play and sing better..

See ya

D

That seems te be a pretty good idea:) I think 'Mordet i grottan' is far better than the songs that were partly made out of it on Opeth's Damnation (they sound rather boring if compared).

To me the one Sörskogen song has always been of the best stuff from both Dan and Mike.

So we can expect the first Second Sky and a Sörskogen album (it's going to be a full album, right? :)) in 2008. Must become a pretty damn good year in music history!

Yes, it will be nice if they will Sörskogen, I love Mordet.

Now back on topic to what Dan is!

The scourger of the weak!
