quick guitar string gauges question

I've been playing bodom with 10 gauges strings and find it hard to hit that level of speed that Alexi has - should i still practice with ten gauges or move back to 9 gauges?

String gauge is nothing but a personal preference. We can't tell you anything about that. You need to experiment for yourself and find out what gauge you like.

But just to tell you, I thing 9's are a little to light for something like D standard or Drop C.
