He lives in 171km from Vladivostok =)

I don't know about the road, but that should be something like 2 or 3 hours travel, maybe I'm wrong hahaha :)

btw, maybe Sham don't like Napalm Death... I don't know that too hahaha

Dib & hetki
Yes, u're right. ND will be playing in Vladivostok soon, but I am not in it. I heard about this concert this summer, but I am not interested in such events.
Vladivostok is situated in 180 km from Nakhodka.

By the way, the price for tickets hasitates from 30 to 100 USD. What price for ticket when some foreign/local band arrives in your city?

When inernational bands come play here, we usually pay between R150 - R400... Divide that by 7.3 and you will have roughly the $ value for the tickets... Not too bad.

Local shows are very affordable here. We pay R50 on average an R60 max... About 8/9$ max then. Weekend fests are about R100-R150...$21. Weekend fests are actually better 'value for money'. Amount of bands you can see for the price is better than just one night shows.

The American singer-songwriter has issued an open challenge and promises to “take down” any heavy metal band that accepts! Are we gonna take this?!

No, we’re not taking the piss – after an endorsement from WWF wrestling legend Mick Foley, American singer-songwriter Tori Amos has got cocky and claimed that she can stand toe-to-toe with any heavy metal band in the world – and will “take down” any challengers!

“Sometimes you don’t know how music affects people,” she muses. “I embrace that because I don’t think that just because I talk about emotional stuff that it’s not motherfucker stuff. I’ll stand next to the hardest fucking heavy metal band on any stage in the world and take them down, alone, by myself. Gauntlet laid down, see who steps up. See who steps up!”

“I’ll take them down at 48 [years old],” she continues. “And they know I will. Because emotion has power that the metal guys know is just you can’t touch it. Insanity can’t touch the soul. It’s going to win every fucking time.”

That’s fightin’ talk right there. Game on.

I'd like to see her 'stand' next to a band like Watain or Gorgoroth...although strictly speaking they are not "heavy metal"...but still... I would like to see that...

Fucking A!!!
Guitars are freakin amazing! Thought this song was gonna be fast and hard...wait that sounds a bit porn...but anyways, still awesome.

So, I am back from Paris and I had a lot more time to talk to Peter and ask the questions that I had noted from here:

Yes!
I would like to ask Peter about next Hypocrisy studio album. Do they have any intentions about it? ETA, title, ready songs and so on.
And personally from me: what is his honest oppinion about russia in general, russian metalheads, metal scene and russian women?
Please, tell him that these quations are from 11 years fan from Far East of Russia.

New Hypocrisy: Only ideas in his head
What he thinks about Russia: Russia is cool
Russian Metalheads: they are cool people, really into it, very intense
Metal scene: He doesn't know much
Women: Russian woman = merry Christmas!

Yes! I always have some q-s )))

3. Peter began touring more than 20 years ago. What has changed radically during this time? Is it easy for him to travel (due to age etc)?
It's better and better! it gets easier. Touring is vacation for him, he doesn't have to take care of anything so he can just relax

And sorry for not answering the question Kobusfan posted, I hadn't written it down. And I just asked him those questions in an informal way, not during an interview or anything ;)

I will be meeting him again with Pain in a couple of weeks.

KrgFn, I have got one more question for Peter. This is serious question, not for having fun.

There is a very strong theory about aliens that visited our planet many thousand years ago. We don't know exact period, but may be 11-13 thousand years ago. According to this theory those aliens have terrifically influenced on historical way of mankind: they have erected many buildings all over the world like egyptian, south american and chinese pyramids, stonehenge and others that we still cannot recognize it's purpose, they have given to people some of their knowledge and equipment and even manipulated with our DNA. Some people think that their descendants live among us even today.
Does Peter know about this theory and what he thinks about it?

Wow that's a long one, can I ask him when we are drunk? :D

In a previous interview I had actually asked this:

Me - Are there any Aliens hidden in the old asylum in Pärlby?
Peter - Could be, I don’t know! Nah, I don’t think so, just some ghosts and stuff.

Almost finished booking my trip by the way, will be seeing Pain in Göteborg, Mariestad, Örebro and Stockholm (where they are filming the DVD) next week if it all goes well :kickass:
