Random metal mentions...

Ok, I know there's already a thread somewhere about this, but I'll be damned if I can find it, so here's a new one.

On Friday Night Lights tonight, not only did a character mention Cannibal Corpse and Carcass (and a couple others), she also actually used the sentence "embrace the cheese that is power metal." Of course, they didn't mention any bands I would call power metal, but still... what a line!

The best was CANNIBAL CORPSE in the first Ace Ventura movie. Jim Carrey went up on stage just making growling sounds and it sounded exactly the same as I believe back then it was Chris Barnes. That was awesome! I love CC, too.
