I really like Angel Of Retribution alot and am happy to say it's somewhat high on my list already. I know everyone is going to have differing opinions on this and am curious to see how other people rank 'em.

1. Sad Wings of Destiny
2. Stained Class
3. Painkiller
4. Sin After Sin
5. Defenders Of The Faith
6. Killing Machine

15. Demolition

I'd say that's exactly how I feel.

I'd say that if I was in a comfrontational mood, but that's rarely the case in recent times. Suffice to say that SC is the only one that's really valuable artistically... Sad Wings to an extent, too.

The rest are worthless.

Fixed. :D

My list is about the same as J-P's, except Painkiller's my fave, and Screaming For Vengeance would be higher.

I'll rank the albums that I own :

1. Painkiller
2. Screaming For Vengeance
3. British Steel
4. Point Of Entry
5. Demolition

I also have 2 lives and the London DVD, so judging from these I believe I would like Defenders of the Faith and Sad Wings of Destiny a lot, next would likely be Hell Bent For Lether. Oh and Demolition would definetly stay last.

Oh man, I love & hate these threads. Like picking your favorite children. There are only a few definites, the top few and the bottom few. The rest is more of a gray area because all have good moments, even Demolition. Here we go:

1. Sin After Sin (without a doubt)
2. Sad Wings of Destiny
3. Painkiller
4. Screaming For Vengeance
5. Stained Class
6. British Steel
7. Defenders of the Faith
8. Rocka Rolla
9. Killing Machine
10. Point of Entry
11. Ram It Down
12. Jugulator
13. Turbo
14. Demolition

I don't know yet where Angel of Retribution would fall. I've listened to it non-stop since Tuesday (release day) but the "test of time" must take place. It would be perhaps in the middle somewhere, hard to say. It's damn good though, I was not disappointed whatsoever.

Besides the fact that I KNOW Sin After Sin is their best, the next four or five are separated by mere inches, they're all so good.

Also, the fact that some of these albums rank "low" is only relative. I still think Jugulator could have been a very valid album for the times had it been four specific songs shorter. Ram It Down seems to get the shaft too, but possesses the greatest lead break section in the history of metal in the title track. Strange cases like that exist everywhere among my list. Turbo too. A stinker by today's standards, I still have an emotionally attachment to that one since it was my first Priest album I bought with my own money when I was a little kid. The title track (live especially on "Priest...Live!") is pretty damn good.

Unleashed
Painkiller
Stained Class
Halford-live insurrection >:>
HBFL
DEFENDERS
SCREAMING
Sin after Sin-god, I hate the production so much.
British Filler err steel
Live in London
Ram it down
Angel of retribution
Turbo

I'm missing sad wings, point of entry, the ripper studios(I won't get those), live meltdown and rocka rolla. Ressurrection songs sound good on live insurrection, i'll be picking that up as well.

I haven't heard ALL the albums, but from the ones I have heard;

1. Screaming for Vengeance
2. Sad Wings of Destiny
3. Painkiller
4. British Steel
5. Ram it Down
6. Turbo

Apparently I need to check out Stained Class though

1- Killing Machine
2 - Sad Wings Of Destiny
3 - Stained Class
4 _ Angel Of Retribution
5 - Screaming For Vengeance
6 - British Steel
7 - Sin After Sin
8 - Painkiller
9 - Defenders Of The Faith
10 - Demolition
11 - Ram It Down
12 - Rocka Rolla
13 - Jugulator
14 - Turbo

Hmm, never got around to buying Point Of Entry. Will need to do so.

Yes, of course. One of them is actually called "Unleashed In The East". You, being an expert on everything will know that?
I'll have to try and find this "Priest In The East" album you like so much.

And BTW "Angel Of Retribution" is fucking brilliant. Rob Halford's vocal performance is one of his best ever, I can't believe the guy is in his 50's. Perhaps he won't match it live, but the record is fantastic. I actually liked Demolition and Jugulator and was angry when Rob rejoined - this album has proved me wrong. The Priest is back, and with their best album since 1978 IMO!
