Thought this would make a fun thread, and it would be interesting to see how all of you rank your favorite albums, recently purchased albums etc...

I'll go first....and start off with the MONUMENTAL "The Number of The Beast"

1. Invaders (3) Great powerful opener! Prepares you for a great album!
2. Children of the Damned (2) Love the way Bruce delivers this tune!
3. Prisoner (6)
4. 22 Acacia Avenue (7)
5. Number of the Beast (4)
6. Run to the Hills (5)
7. Gangland (8)
8. Total Eclipse (9) I would not call this one a "dud" but it is defo the least fav on this album.
9. Hallowed Be Thy Name (1) DUH!

Next up... "Spreading the Disease" Anthrax, saw them live recently and they totally slayed! This is my favorite album by them... and IMO their best (no weird songs (AKA Rap songs) is a plus

4. S.S.C./Stand or Fall (8) Good, but nothing special

8. Medusa (1) Just love this track! I love the tempo, the vocals and melody lines are superb!
9. Gung-Ho (9) I hate the chorus... so annoying IMO, otherwise the song is alright.

Yikes! I haven't heard Into The Void in a longgggggg time... better listen again before ranking... although I do remember liking Hate2 a lot... why do you dare put it at #9?

Let's see, I am at work and currently listening to "Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son" my favorite Maiden album BTW

1. Moonchild (3) Awesome opener! Catchy, full of Maiden-energy-goodness.
2. Infinite Dreams (2) Damn I love how this song builds up... and Bruce's "death scream moment" ravishing song!
3. Can I Play With Madness (8) I don't hate this song like most people... it's "OK"
4. Evil That Men Do (6)
5. Seventh Son of a Seventh Son (5)
6. Prophecy (7)
7. Clairvoyant (4) Hahaha, funny how it sounds like Bruce is saying "Jamaica" awesome song!
8. Only the Good Die Young (1) Not too many people like this one that much... but I say to you "lost ones" .... "so until the next time have a good sin!"

Edit... need to make a switch while I am listening, The Evil That Men Do @ #4, The Clairvoyant @ #5 and SSoaSS @ #6... I think I've made it my mind now

I think I am one of the few people that can appreciate this CD... granted it's got some really bad tracks... but also IMO it has some decent and some tracks that I really like

2. Angel and the Gambler (8) I actually SKIP this song... I can't stand it... a shame cause the video is so cool!

4. Clansman (2) amazing live!
5. When Two Worlds Collide (6)
6. Educated Fool (3)
7. Don't Look to the Eyes of a Stranger (1) Yes, it is very repetitive but it has something that really grabs me
8. Como Estais Amigos (4) I love this "ballad" I think Blaze does a good job here... it sounds very "heartfelt"

That's a shame... most people don't give him a chance... I love the work he did while with Maiden... and his solo stuff is great, straight forward heavy metallllll
