yeah i have this album and it is very good. it definitely has a similar vibe as katatonia. they have the same guitar sound, which reminds me especially of both tonights desicion and lfdgd, especially on the first track
but also has parallels with BMD. there are quite a few long instrumental passages. the vocalist sounds more angry than despairing though, and the vocals are growls, a lot more like the earlier albums. very good.

Yea its one of my fav albums ever! i love it! i love it more than BMD well i have been listening to Futile alot longer than BMD so that maybe has something to do with it. Anyway i love it its a masterpiece for me!

I have the first one and I know one of their members, haven't talked with him in a long time thou. I read from Avantgardes site, that Henri Wilberg from Diablerie had joined Rapture and he was the vocalist in Diablerie, so I don't know what has happened with Rapture lately, maybe this is time to call my friend...1st album is good thou...
