So, where is everyone from. Don't know why, but that kind of stuff has always interested me. Just want to see how wide the realm of Theocracy influence has spread. Im from NY up towards Syracuse, but Ill be movin to Daytona in 2 months to spread the awesome tunes.

wow....the 1st reply pretty well ended this thread. Doogie wanted to know how wide Theocracy had reached....doesn't get much wider than Australia. :0
Anyway I'm in Ottawa Canada....not so far

Hey,

This is Matt's wife. Of course we live in GA, but I used to live near Binghamton, NY (South of Syracuse). My HS marching band played in the Carrier Dome a few times.

I've also lived in Warrenton, VA, close to Manassas (where MetalAges is). Before all that, I lived near Nuremberg, Germany, (my mom still talks about the Christkindlesmarket) and was born in New Jersey (lived there 3 months before moving across the Atlantic). At least I was born on the short end of my dad's army career!

So anyway, at some point in my life, I used to live near at least half the people on the forum!

Well, welcome to Athens! Are you coming up for school, or just to be close to the best band in the world?

It's Sue!

*bows*

As for myself, I live in Marietta, GA which is about 2 hours from Athens. It's roughly 20 minutes *with no traffic jams* to Atlanta from where I live.

I'd like to add one more thing to this thread. Who, whether they be GA residents or travelers, will be attending ProgPower in Atlanta in Sept? I will be there and would love to get a chance to meet many of you! I will be there for the main shows (Fri/Sat) and the Thurs pre-show party. I'll definitely be wearing my Theocracy shirt one of the days that I'm there!

I'm still kicking myself for not going last year. My buddy tried to convince me to go and I didn't. He went and not only got to meet my favorite vocalist (sorry Matt), Midnight of Crimson Glory, but he also got to enjoy an impromptu acoustic performance in his hotel at 4am by Midnight! He busted out the guitar and jammed with anyone who had an instrument and wanted to join in. Anyway, I'm not missing the fun this year!

I'll be there again *I've been going since PP3*. I love Stratovarius, but for some reason I'm not that excited yet about this years lineup compared to years past. Don't ask me why - as I have no clue. I probably won't be at the pre-show party though.

well, the real reason im going is because my mom got a job a the university, but being close to Theocracy is gonna be really cool (i hope... :Smug: )

I live in Guymon Oklahoma. Right in the middle of no man's land. We have nothing out here. Guymon is in the panhandle of Oklahoma. Here you can see for miles. No trees, mountains or lakes. :erk: For those of you going to PP4, be sure and check out Circus Maximus. They are awesome. If I could go they would be the only reason for me going.
